Milford Swimmers Pick Up ECC Honors

After top performances at this season’s Eastern Cincinnati Conference Championships, several members of the Milford swimming team have earned all-conference honors. Congratulations to each student-athlete!

Headlining the list are siblings Erin and Evan Fentress. Before going on to qualify for the OHSAA State Championships, both earned conference championships. Erin, only a freshman, won the 50 freestyle crown with a mark of 24.39. Older brother Evan, a sophomore, stopped the clocks in the 100 butterfly in 50.84 to take the top spot.

Evan also earned all-conference second team recognition for his contribution to the runner-up finishing 400 freestyle relay. Joining Evan on the squad were freshman Paul Menker, senior Tim Greenwell and sophomore Owen Ferrara. The foursome’s mark in the race was 3:22.06.

On the girls side, the Eagles took second place in the 200 freestyle relay, finishing with a time of 1:47.09. The runner-up squad was comprised of freshman Morgan Clark, freshman Ashley Johnson, sophomore Abbey Sauers and freshman Molly Craycraft.

Picking up honorable mention honors for the Eagles were senior Tim Greenwell (500 freestyle) and senior Emma Otten (100 butterfly).
