Morgan, Neff Earn Postseason Boys Basketball Honors

Juniors Erich Morgan and Lucas Neff have been honored for their play during the recent boys basketball season with inclusion on the 2022 All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference teams. Morgan was tabbed among the top-12 players in the league as a first team all-conference performer, while Neff was picked honorable mention All-ECC. In addition, Morgan was an honorable mention All-District 16 selection.

Morgan topped the Eagles and ranked ninth in the ECC in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game. For the year, Morgan finished with double digit points in 15 of the 22 games in which he played, including a high mark of 31 in a win over West Clermont. An 80% free throw shooter, Morgan also knocked down 23 three-pointers this winter, while adding three rebounds and two assists per outing.

Neff had a solid first varsity season, averaging seven points and four rebounds per game. His best stretch came in December when he topped 15 points in three straight games, representing three of his seven double-figure scoring games of the year. Neff’s first game against Goshen saw him finish with a career-best 12 rebounds.
