Pair Of Milford High School Student-Athletes Announce College Plans

Posted on: November 8, 2017

The Milford High School Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that two members of its Class of 2018 will continue their athletic careers on the collegiate level. The student-athletes that have committed to continuing their academic and athletic futures include: Dax Creager (Men’s Lacrosse-High Point University) and Lisa Sullivan (Volleyball-United States Military Academy at West Point).

Creager was a vital component of the first varsity team in school history last spring as he earned third team All-Ohio honors in helping the Eagles to the inaugural Eastern Cincinnati Conference Championship. Creager also earned first team All-ECC, and OHSCLA All-Region honors, finishing his junior campaign with five goals and seven assists.

At High Point, Creager will play for head coach Jon Torpey, the only head coach in the history of the Panthers’ program, dating back to 2010. Dax is the son of Daniel and Angela Creager.

Sullivan concludes her career as a four-time All-ECC selection, including a place on the first team in each of the last three years. As a senior, Sullivan led the league in kills (345) and kills per game (4.60), hitting .400, totaling 313 digs and 27 blocks.

At Army, Sullivan will play for head coach Alma Kovaci Lee, who is in the midst of her 10th season leading the Black Knights, where she has amassed over 200 victories. Lisa is the daughter of Jeff and Mayita Sullivan.

Creager and Sullivan are the first members of the MHS Class of 2018 to announce college commitments for next year. Further signee information will be shared throughout the 2017-18 academic year as it is finalized.
