Ringland Earns All-District Football Honors

Posted on: November 24, 2019

Vince Ringland’s versatility was once again rewarded as Milford’s Mr. Do Everything picked up second team All-Southwest District honors from voting members of the media for his play as Milford’s punter this season. Ringland was one of two players to share second team punting honors, being joined by Beavercreek’s Nick Brown.

Ringland was one of the best punters in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference in 2019, ranking third among regular punters with a 37.5 average, including six punts inside the 20. His season-long boot of 63 yards was just one yard off the best in the league.

The junior also earned first team All-ECC honors for his exceptional all around play this fall. After starting the year as a receiver and ending as the starting quarterback, Ringland led the team in receiving yards (441) and touchdown receptions (5). After shifting to QB, Ringland threw for 291 yards and a touchdown, while adding 179 yards and five scores on the ground. In addition to his punting prowess, Ringland also handled the kickoff duties where he deposited six kickoffs in the endzone for touchbacks.
