Fresh off a second place ECC finish this year, the Milford boys soccer squad has had seven members named all-conference. After a 13-4-2 final record, seniors Max Crawford and Ryan Henke, along with junior Nick Haskins picked up first team honors. Seniors Collin Kittrell and Eli Simones, junior Luke Hammar and freshman Nick Henke were all tabbed second team All-ECC.

Crawford finished his campaign tied for the top spot in the league with 14 assists and concludes his career with 35 helpers, the second most in program history. This season also marks Crawford’s second straight All-ECC first team honor. Crawford also ranked fifth in the conference with 36 points and was in the top-10 with 11 goals. In addition, he has successfully handled kicking duties for the Milford football team this fall.

Ryan Henke capped an amazing career that this fall saw him set the school record for goals (54) and points (128) in a career. For the year, he scored a league-best 18 goals and was also first with 41 points. Henke is now a four-time All-ECC recipient with second team honors his freshman and sophomore years and first team accolades each of the past two campaigns.

You don’t have to look far past Crawford’s name to find Haskins among the most prolific scorers in the ECC this fall. Haskins shared the number one position with 14 assists and trailed his teammate by just a single point (40). Not to be outdone, he was also fifth in the conference with 13 goals of his own. Haskins is now a two-time all-conference recipient.

Kittrell and Hammar were important pieces in a Milford defense that yielded just 18 goals in 19 matches this season, while contributing to eight shutouts. Kittrell also added an assist offensively. For Kittrell, he’s now a two-time second team selection, while Hammar is a first time all-league choice.

Simones has another big-time scorer for the Eagles this fall. By season’s end, he was among the top-10 ECC players in goals (11), assists (8) and points (30) in his first-ever all-conference season.

Nick Henke was a huge contributor in his first season of high school soccer. His final totals showed seven goals and three assists for a total of 17 points in his freshman season.
