GAME REWIND
For the second day in a row, Milford scored double-digit runs in the second inning against Anderson, as the Eagles clinched at least a share of the 2021 ECC Championship with a 13-0 win. After exploding for 12 runs in the second a day prior, the Eagles put 10 on the board on Senior Night, highlighted by a three-run homer by Taylor Stemmerding.

In securing the first league championship since 2018, Milford struck early and often, starting the game with a bang on a two-run homer by Sam Boothby in the first as part of a three-run inning.

One inning later, Olivia Craycraft got the ball rolling with an RBI double. Other highlights during the frame included a bases loaded walk to Boothby, an Avery Fielman sac fly and Stemmerding’s second long ball of the year.

In the circle, Emily Allphin and Sam Boothby combined for a two-hit shutout.
