GAME REWIND
Milford jumped to a 9-1 lead then held off an Oak Hills comeback in another wild one, a 12-9 Eagles win over the Highlanders. The Eagles exploded for eight extra-base hits on the day, including home runs by Taylor Stemmerding and Brooklyn Stewart in the win.

Oak Hills got rolling in the third with five runs, tacking on two more in the fourth to cut the deficit to 9-8. The Eagles gave themselves some breathing room with a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth, the latter pair coming on Stemmerding’s big fly, her first of the campaign.
