GAME REWIND
Sam Boothby pitched her best game of the spring, a one-hit shutout as Milford cruised to a 12-0 win in game one of a doubleheader against Walnut Hills. The senior lefty was nearly perfect, striking out eight and walking just one to pick up her sixth win of the season.
Offensively, the Eagles took advantage of seven walks and five hit batters to compliment seven base hits. Boothby highlighted a three-run first inning with a two-RBI single for the home team. The second inning produced eight runs on just three hits with a two-run Madi Fugate double and a two-RBI single by Olivia Craycraft the big hits of the frame.

GAME REWIND
Milford got a second straight brilliant pitching performance, this time from Emily Allphin along with a 23-hit offensive explosion as the Eagles routed Walnut Hills in doubleheader game two, 14-0. Allphin twirled a five-hit shutout, striking out eight with no walks to grab win number two of the year.
MHS got all the runs it would need and then some with a staggering 12-run first inning that saw 15 batters stride to the plate. Sam Boothby collected four RBI by herself in the frame as the Eagles pounded out 12 hits. Other players to collect RBI in the inning were Taylor Stemmerding (2), Mollie Bloom, Madi Fugate and Emily Allphin. Kaitlyn Flynn tallied an RBI single in the third, while Allphin picked up an RBI double in the fifth to end the day’s scoring.
