April 30 at Turpin
Turpin rebounded from deficits twice, until Milford unleashed a 10-run fourth inning on the Spartans as the Eagles picked up a 15-5 win to improve to 18-3 on the season. The victory is Milford’s eighth straight and represents the Eagles’ 12th win by double figures of the year.

As has been the case all year, the Eagles went to work early, using a Turpin error and a fielder’s choice in the first to take a 2-0 lead. The first of two wind-aided home runs pulled the Spartans back even in the bottom of the second.

In the third, the Eagles regained the lead with a three-spot, starting with an RBI single by Brooklyn Stewart. Later, consecutive productive at-bats by Sam Boothby and Mollie Bloom resulted in RBI groundouts for the Eagles. But in the bottom of the inning, Turpin pitcher Kylie Goetz helped herself, lifting a three-run homer to left.

Milford really cut loose in the fourth, sending 15 hitters to the plate in the 10-run inning. Emily Allphin had the first big hit of the inning with a two-run homer to left. Meghan Stulz had a two-run single, while Taylor Stemmerding added a two-RBI double. Allphin collected her third RBI of the inning later with a run-scoring single.
