Watson, Horn Earn All-ECC Boys Golf Honors
Junior Cole Watson and sophomore Adam Horn were recently honored for their play this fall with inclusion on the 2019 All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference teams. Watson earned a slot on the league’s second team, while Horn was an honorable mention choice.
Watson ended his junior campaign with the 13th-best average in the league, with a nine-hole average of 40.3. He tied for seventh at the preseason ECC event with a score of 76 and was tied for 14th at the championship event with a round of 80.
Horn’s season was slowed by an early season injury, but he bounced back to qualify for the OHSAA District Tournament for the second straight year. He was also Milford’s top finisher at the ECC Tournament, tying for sixth after carding a 77. Horn’s average of 40.2 was the league’s 11th-best mark.
This is the second time each player earned All-ECC honors, with Watson being tabbed honorable mention two years ago and Horn earning first team honors last year.
