Posted on: April 28, 2021

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Jason Poleski
Milford - Junior
Track
Jason, a junior, is the "lead off" of both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams that finished fourth and sixth respectively at this past week's Anderson Invitational. The 4x100 team also ran a season's best time at the meet. Jason also runs the 200 meter dash and long jumps, and he set PR's in both of those events last week at the New Richmond Invite. Jason has had a strong start to the season thus far. We look forward to seeing him continue to improve as we move into the second half of the season.

Andrew Littrell
Milford - Freshman
Track
Andrew, a freshman, has had a great start to his first track season with Milford. He runs both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and the 4x400 meter relay, as well as competing in the long jump. Over the past couple of weeks, Andrew has improved tremendously, even earning him a spot on this past week's varsity roster that competed at the Anderson Invitational. He ran a leg of the 4x400 meter relay that set a new season's best time, and he long jumped setting a new PR in his first varsity outing. Way to go Andrew, keep up the great work!

Gretchen Feldkamp
Milford - Senior
Track
Gretchen, a senior, is one of only five senior girls on our roster, and she is one of the leaders of our squad. Gretchen runs both open 100 and 200 meter dashes and has one of the top times in the ECC in both of those events. She is also the "anchor leg" on both of our ECC-leading sprint relays. Gretchen has done a great job thus far and is expected to help lead our very improved squad to a high finish in the ECC this year. Gretchen was also awarded the NFHS Award of Excellence the other night at our school's Senior Awards Program! Gretchen is always representing our program well! Way to go Gretchen!

Macy Nerl
Milford - Freshman
Track
Macy, a freshman, has been having a fantastic freshman season thus far. She is a sprinter and long jumper and has improved each week. This past week, she placed third in the long jump at the Kings Senior Night Quad! Macy is a fun young lady who is always striving to get better, and her attitude is contagious. She always has a smile on her face but is always working hard to improve. We are excited to see Macy perform at our home meet this week. I think she is going to surprise a number of people. Keep up the hard work Macy!
