Week Of April 5 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
KeShaun Barnes
Milford - Senior
Track
KeShaun placed fifth in the 100 meter dash and was a member of the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 meter relays that all placed in the top five at the West Clermont Invitational this past Thursday night. It was a strong performance given the frigid temperatures. We're ready to see what he can do once we have some nicer weather to run in!
Meredith Goff
Milford - Junior
Track
Meredith won two individual championships (100 meter dash and 200 meter dash) and was the lead leg of both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams that also finished first at the West Clermont Invitational this past Thursday in some less than ideal weather conditions! Meredith is off to a strong start to her 2021 track season, and we can’t wait to see how it ends up! Keep up the great work Meredith!
Caleb Lambdin
Milford - Sophomore
Baseball
Caleb made his varsity baseball debut on Saturday against Talawanda. Caleb picked up the win, pitching three scoreless innings in relief and contributing offensively with a run scored and an RBI in the Eagles 8-4 win.
Avery Fielman
Milford - Sophomore
Softball
Avery helped the Lady Eagles to a 3-0 record for the week with a trio of big games at the plate. For the stretch, she went 6-for-13 (.462) with two doubles, a home run, five runs scored, and six RBI. In a win against Kings, Avery connected on her first career homer, a three-run shot, finishing that game with five RBI.
