Week Of December 19 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Shelby Sullivan and Cali Meshew
Milford Bowling
Shelby, a senior, helped lead the Milford girls to three wins this past week. Shelby averaged 171 for the week which included games of 212 and 206. Cali, a junior, also helped the Lady Eagles by averaging 167.5 for the week, included her season-high games of 192, 186, and 181.
Jonny Bell
Junior, Milford Swimming
Jonny had two amazing finishes on his individual events to win the 100 freestyle and finish third in the 200 IM. He also swam lead-off leg in the winning 200 freestyle relay, while also swimming the third led of the 200 medley relay.
Prateek Bhandari
Junior, Milford Academic
Prateek’s incredible buzzing and mental gymnastics impressed everyone at the match this past week.
Erin Fentress
Senior, Milford Swimming
Erin made her season debut, winning all four events she competed in. She anchored winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays, while capturing individual wins in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
Nolan Littrell
Senior, Milford Bowling
Nolan helped lead the boys to two wins this past week averaging 214 over six games. His high games for the week were 247 and 238.
Nick Scally
Senior, Milford Wrestling
Despite his seventh seed, Nick took fourth place at the Coaches Classic tournament in the 190 lbs. weight class. He finished the two-day tournament with five wins against two losses.
