Week Of December 20 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Paul Menker
Junior
Swimming
In his first meet of the young season, Paul was a part of two winning relays, while picking up a win and a runner-up finish in a big Milford win over Anderson. Paul started the night as part of the winning 200 medley relay squad, swimming the second leg. He then moved on to individual action where he won the 50 freestyle and took second in the 100 backstroke. His night concluded by swimming the opening leg in the winning 400 freestyle relay.

Emily King

Swimming
Emily found herself on the podium four different times in her first meet of the season, a Milford win over Anderson. She started her meet in style with a win in the 50 freestyle and later swam a leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay. Emily's night wrapped up with a third place finish in the 100 breaststroke and a runner-up in the 400 freestyle relay.

Mallory Klingshirn
Senior
Bowling
Mallory led the girls to a win this past week over Walnut Hills. She rolled a team season-high game of 255 to go along with a 143 for an impressive 398 series.

Ryan Lemley
Sophomore
Bowling
Ryan led the boys this past week against Walnut Hills with a 216-179 for a 395 series. Ryan is averaging a 185 in ECC matches this year.

Miah O'Toole
Junior
Basketball
Miah had a team-high 13 points against Winton Woods and then followed that up with a career-high 24 points in helping her team to a victory Saturday over Little Miami. In the two games last week, she shot 54 percent from the field, including 58 percent from the three-point line, and 100 percent from the free throw line!

Austin Holman
Sophomore
Wrestling
Austin is a sophomore who had five wins at the SWOWCA Coaches Classic Invitational and took sixth place at the 157 lb. weight class.

Lilly Braun
Freshman
Diving
Lilly won the first meet of her career with a score of 173.00 in a meet against Anderson. Her mark currently ranks third in the ECC.
