Week Of December 6 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Nick Welty
Milford - Junior
Swimming
Nick started his junior season with a pair of individual victories in the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke, while also swimming the opening leg of the winning 200 medley relay. He finished the night anchoring the winning 400 freestyle relay which propelled the Eagles to the meet win over West Clermont.
Sophia Otten
Milford - Senior
Swimming
Sophia took runner-up honors in both the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke in the Lady Eagles’ meet against West Clermont. She also swam the anchor leg for the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams that each finished second.
Mallory Klingshirn
Milford - Senior
Bowling
Mallory led the girls this past week against Winton Woods, Loveland, and in the Big Blue Challenge Tournament with a 167 average for seven games to start the season.
Nolan Littrell
Milford - Junior
Bowling
Nolan led the boys this past week against Loveland and in Big Blue Challenge Tournament with a 194 average for five games to start the season.
