Posted on: February 15, 2023

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Lilly Braun
Sophomore, Milford Diving
Lilly qualified for the OHSAA District Championships for the second straight year after a strong performance at Sectionals. For the 11-dive meet, Lilly recorded a season-high score of 307.90 to finish tenth, just .2 points behind teammate Audrey Fox.

Patrick Eminger
Freshman, Milford Diving
Patrick qualified for the OHSAA District Diving Championships as a freshman following a sixth-place finish at Sectionals. In the 11-dive meet, Patrick posted a season-best score of 358.25, finishing just one place behind older brother Luke.

Ryan Lemley
Junior, Milford Bowling
Ryan shot games of 236-222-217-189 to average 216 last week against West Clermont and Walnut Hills. His 453 against Walnut Hills was his high series of the season.

Collin Pschesang
Senior, Milford Wrestling
Collin wrestles in the 126 lb. weight class and has 20 wins this season, but he is our Athlete of the Week due to his leadership. Although he is the smallest of the 10 seniors, he is the Captain that runs the team. His peer leadership is unmatched, and he sets an outstanding example of how to be a successful student athlete both in and out of the wrestling room.

Shelby Sullivan
Senior, Milford Bowling
Shelby averaged 187 last week over three matches leading the girls to two wins. She shot her season-high series of 421 with games of 209-212 against Mercy McAuley.

Nick Welty
Senior, Milford Swimming
Nick will be a two-time OHSAA District qualifier after a strong showing at Sectionals. He first helped the 200 medley relay squad advance, swimming the first leg of the squad that posted the tenth best time of Sectionals. Nick will also compete in the 100 backstroke as the 20th fastest swimmer at the meet.

Lily Wright
Junior, Milford Swimming
Lily has qualified for three events, including one relay, at next week's OHSAA District Meet. Individually, Lily will compete in the 200 and 500 freestyle after recording the 29th and 20th best times, respectively. She swam the second leg of the 400 freestyle relay which posted the 14th quickest mark.
