Week Of February 8 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Milford - Senior
Bowling
A.J. continues to ROLL the ball with GREAT SKILLS. In three matches this past week, he rolled a total pin count of 1393. He averaged 232.1 for the six games he bowled. Turpin 220 + 209 = 429 series, Little Miami 268 + 225 = 493 series, and Anderson 245 + 226 = 471 series.

Kaylie McKenney and Madalyn Hills
Milford -
Basketball
Two members of Milford's talented junior class, Kaylie McKenney and Madalyn Hills, helped the Lady Eagles to a 2-1 record in the final full week of the regular season. Kaylie averaged 13 points and six rebounds per game for the stretch and added six steals, five assists, and four blocks. Madalyn made Milford history by setting the school record for three-pointers in a season, breaking the record held by current JV coach Kelly Noll of 49. She finished the week with 52 three-pointers this season and averaged nine points per game in the last week's contests.

Paul Menker
Milford - Sophomore
Swimming
Paul had a tremendous performance at Sectionals, qualifying for one individual event and helping two relay squads qualify. Paul will compete at Districts in the 100 backstroke, while also taking part in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays. He also is an alternate to participate at Districts in the 100 freestyle.

Emily King
Milford - Junior
Swimming
Emily will make an appearance in the OHSAA District Meet after swimming the anchor leg of the 200 freestyle relay. Individually, Emily finished seventh at the ME Lyons Sectionals in the 100 freestyle and was ninth in the 200 IM, swimming season-best times in both events.

Wrestling
Nick went 3-0 with two pins at 152 lbs in the team's quad this weekend against Elder, Campbell County, and Lakota East.
