Week Of January 18 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Franklin Abt / A.J. Kaylor / Nolan Littrell

Bowling
Nolan Littrell, a sophomore, led the team against Kings with scores of 268 and 169 for a 437 series. Franklin Abt, a senior, rolled scores of 228 and 206 (434 series) and Anthony (A.J.) Kaylor, a senior, bowled games of 215 and 214 (429 series).

Chad Lynn
Milford - Senior
Wrestling
Chad went 6-1 this past week with four pins. His wins against Sycamore and Harrison helped the team to victory against both opponents. At the Loveland Duals, he had key wins against Loveland, Little Miami, and Hamilton Badin.

Shelby Sullivan
Milford - Sophomore
Bowling
Shelby shot 170 and 156 for a 326 series against Anderson and a 172 and 162 for a 334 series against Kings. She averaged 165 for the week!

Nick Welty
Milford - Sophomore
Swimming
Nick had a big day in the Eagles’ win over ECC rival Anderson, scoring a trio of wins and one second place finish. Nick was a part of the winning 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams. He also came up big in the 100 backstroke, taking runner-up honors.

Morgan Clark
Milford - Sophomore
Swimming
Morgan was part of two winning relays, while earning a pair of runner-up finishes in individual events in a win over Anderson. In relay events, Morgan swam the second leg of the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Individually, Morgan took second in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly events.

Paige Ayler / Madalyn Hills / Kaylie McKenney / Miah O’Toole

Basketball
Madalyn Hills, a junior, contributed 14 points while going 5-for-9 from the field, including four three-pointers, in a victory against St. Ursula. She hit three 3's in the third quarter that helped her team secure a 48-21 victory. Kaylie McKenney, a junior, contributed nine points and 13 rebounds in the St. Ursula victory. She also had 10 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in a win over Indian Hill. Paige Ayler, a junior, had nine rebounds and took three charges against St. Ursula. She also secured 12 rebounds in the Indian Hill contest. Miah O'Toole, a sophomore, went 4-for-9 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers, for a total of 10 points against Indian Hill. She also secured five rebounds in the same contest

Luke Eminger
Milford - Freshman
Diving
Luke had a great performance at West Clermont's Classic Diving Meet. Competing against 130 divers from all over Southwest Ohio, Luke recorded a score of 231.45 in the 11-dive finals to place nineteenth overall.
