Week Of January 23 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Patrick Derrig
Senior, Milford Swimming
Patrick competed hard in the Eagles' meet against Madeira and Sycamore, taking part in four events. His best results were in the 50 backstroke where he took home sixth place and the 100 freestyle where he was eighth.

Luke Eminger
Junior, Milford Diving
In a pair of events, Luke earned a win in a six-dive dual meet and a second-place finish in an 11-dive meet against a strong field. In the dual meet against Sycamore, Luke posted a score of 214.85, then followed it up with a mark of 336.50 at the Milford Invitational. Both scores were season bests.

Audrey Fox
Freshman, Milford Diving
Audrey, a freshman, had a big week for the Lady Eagles, winning a dual meet against Sycamore and placing fourth in a tough field at the Milford Invitational. Against Sycamore, she earned a six dive season-best score of 183.95.

Ryan Lemley
Junior, Milford Bowling
Ryan shot 225-174 for a 399 series to help lead Milford’s boys to a victory over Seven Hills. Ryan is averaging 183 this year.

Cali Meshew
Junior, Milford Bowling
Cali shot 173-163 for a 336 series against Seven Hills. Cali is averaging 153 this year.

Noah White
Senior, Milford Wrestling
The senior went 5-0 with 5 pins in the 138 lb. weight class at the Loveland Duals. He won the tournament's Most Pins in the Least Amount of Time Award with wins over West Clermont, Loveland, Kings, Deer Park, and Miamisburg.

Lily Wright
Junior, Milford Swimming
Lily found her way onto the podium in a pair of events in a meet against Madeira and Sycamore. Individually, she took third in a special 100 IM race, while later helping the 200 medley relay squad to a third-place finish.
