Week Of January 27 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Aiden Walsh
Milford - Freshman
Wrestling

Milford wrestling was off last week, but we would like to take the time to recognize one of our top performers at this midpoint of the season. Aiden has wrestled to a 10-2 record on the varsity and 4-2 at JV. At 10-2, he currently holds the highest winning percentage at the varsity level and is among the team leaders in falls, takedowns, and team points. Off the mats, Aiden is involved in numerous activities, including music and as a true Student-Athlete is an honor student in the classroom.

Fallon Austin

Bowling

Fallon led the girls' squad with a season-high series of 389 (194 and 195) against Loveland on Tuesday. In the second match-up with Loveland on Wednesday, Fallon rolled games of 136 and 167 for a 309 series.

Franklin Abt, A.J. Kaylor, Chase Naylor
Milford -
Bowling

In Tuesday's match against Loveland, A.J. Kaylor, a junior, recorded a 423 series (188 and 235) and Franklin Abt, also a junior, rolled a 410 series (187 and 223). The next day against Loveland, A.J. rolled games of 173 and 162 for a 335 series and Chase Naylor, a sophomore, added games of 134 and 200 for a 334 series.

Erin Fentress
Milford - Freshman
Swimming

At the ECC Championships, Erin finished first in the 50 free with a new ECC record and third in the 100 free.

Evan Fentress
Milford - Sophomore
Swimming

Evan established a new ECC record on his way to winning the 100 fly at the ECC Championships. He also finished fourth in the 200 free.
