Week Of January 30 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Brody Brandenburg
Junior, Milford Diving
Brody finished third at the ECC Diving Championships with a season-best score of 179.10. He also took eighth overall in a tune-up for the postseason meet at Miami University.

Lilly Braun
Sophomore, Milford Diving
Lilly had a great week finishing in the top-10 at a pair of meets. First, she took sixth at West Clermont's Invitational with a season-best score of 182.80. Lilly also finished ninth at the ECC Championships.

Cameron Canter
Senior, Milford Wrestling
The second-year wrestler went to overtime in the finals of the 175 lb. weight class with a much more experienced wrestler and ended up in second place at the Milford Invitational. His four pins on the day helped the team to a second-place finish out of the 17-team field.

Erin Fentress
Senior, Milford Swimming
Erin had another huge performance at the ECC Championships, picking up wins in both the 50 and 100 freestyle. She set the ECC meet record in both events, while establishing a school top mark in the 100 free and matching the Milford 50 free time. Erin won the ECC title in the 50 freestyle all four years of her career.

Nolan Littrell
Senior, Milford Bowling
Nolan shot a career-high 299-239 against Anderson to lead the boys to a win. This set the two-game series record for Milford HS. This raises his conference leading average to 232.9.

Jake Nerl
Freshman, Milford Swimming
Jake helped the Eagles to a third-place finish, scoring an invdividual top five and landing on the podium in a relay. Jake finished fifth in the 500 freestyle, while swimming the second leg of the 400 free relay that took second. He also placed in the top 10 in the 200 free and 200 freestyle relay.

Cayden Smith
Junior, Milford Basketball
Cayden a 5'5" guard has led us in rebounding the last two games with eight and seven in those two games. She also had a career-high 20 points in our game Saturday to go along with those seven rebounds and six assists.

Shelby Sullivan
Senior, Milford Bowling
Shelby shot her season-high game of 244 to help the girls get the win against Anderson.
