Week Of May 3 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Brynn Morgan
Milford - Junior
Track
Brynn, a junior, has had a tremendous season thus far in 2021. She is our lone girls' hurdler and is currently ranked as one of the top in the ECC! She has also picked up long jumping this year and has shown that she has the ability to be a top competitor in that event as well! Brynn has placed in the top eight of every event she has competed in this spring. Let’s keep it going all the way through the ECC Meet!
Elise Linville
Milford - Freshman
Track
Elise, a freshman, has also been having a really good season thus far. She has been a member of our improving 4x800 relay team, as well as one of our open 800 meter runners. She has seen her time dropping consistently throughout the season and is looking to peak just at the right time! Great job Elise!
Duncan MacRae
Milford - Junior
Track
Duncan, a junior, throws the shot put and discus for us and has really taken a big step forward in those events as of late. This past week, he set two new PR's at our own Milford Invitational! We hope to see continued improvement from Duncan as we move into championship season! Keep it up Duncan!
Tanner Helton
Milford - Freshman
Track
Tanner, a freshman, also throws the shot out and discus for us. Tanner had a slow start to the season but is quickly showing vast improvements in his events! He has been setting new personal records each time out! He has put himself in a position to step up and challenge for one on our top two spots in the discus! Keep up the hard work Tanner!
Maria Rust
Milford - Sophomore
Lacrosse
Maria assisted her team in securing two wins over Turpin and McNicholas for the week. Maria scored seven goals and led her team in draw controls with 11 DCs in the three-game week for the Lady Eagles.
Mollie Bloom
Milford - Junior
Softball
Mollie has been an outstanding contributor to Milford's success all season and had another big week last week. In four games, all Lady Eagle wins, Mollie batted .462 (6-for-13) with one double, six runs scored, and seven RBIs. She has played great defense in the outfield all season, committing just one error in 20 games.
Chase Herrell
Milford - Junior
Baseball
Chase picked up his third win of the season against Little Miami. He pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out seven batters.
