Week Of October 24 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Ella Hyott and Lizzie Fight
Milford Soccer
Ella, one of our captains, is one of our most reliable center-mids. The senior stepped up big this past week by filling a vital role in our midfield. Her effort and attitude make her one of the best role models on the team. We are so lucky to have her in our program. Lizzie, a sophomore, is one of our first go-to players any time we need to put someone in a different position. She gladly takes on the task and always gives 100 percent no matter where she's placed on the field. Her versatility is such an asset to our team!
Cam Livingston and Luke Ray
Milford Football
Two of Milford's dynamic wide receivers, seniors Cam Livingston and Luke Ray, were both instrumental in the Eagles' regular season finale victory over Turpin. The twosome became the second Milford duo this season to top 100 receiving yards in the same game. Cam finished with 115 yards on four receptions, including a 57-yard touchdown. Luke had five catches for 105 yards and a pair of scores. He opened the night with a 39-yard TD reception, before adding a 41-yard score in the second quarter.
Sam Crawford
Senior, Milford Soccer
Senior goalkeeper Sam Crawford earned a third consecutive shutout which included the first two rounds of the state tournament. This was the eighth shutout for Milford this year, led by a strong defense, Sam Crawford, and currently injured Jeremiah Feist (also a senior goalkeeper).
