Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Ayla Grabenbauer and Sam Conrad
Milford -
Cross Country
Ayla and Sam, both juniors, finished in the top-20 at the District Championship to secure a spot at the Regional Championship this Saturday.

Collin McCain
Milford - Senior
Soccer
Collin came on in the second half of the Sectional Final against Moeller and pounded an unsaveable shot into the side netting for the victory.

Sawyer Copp and Jacob Smith
Milford -
Football
A super sophomore on each side of the ball, running back Sawyer Copp and linebacker Jacob Smith, helped lead the Eagles to a big win over Lebanon. After spending nearly the entire season on the JV squad, Sawyer had a breakout performance, rushing for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns on just 11 carries (9.7 yards per carry). Jacob has been a fixture on the Eagle defense, and against the Warriors, he finished the night with 16 total tackles including two for loss.

Emily Morgan
Milford - Junior
Volleyball
Emily recorded 37 digs, a 2.1 serve receive rating, six aces, and six assists in two tournament matches this past week. Emily also achieved the "1,000 career digs" milestone this week as only a junior! She's done a great job on defense for three seasons and continues to excel! Outstanding work, Emily!

Abby Nehlen
Milford - Senior
Soccer
Playing at the center back position, Abby has single-handedly kept us in games this season. Her tireless efforts on the field have become something Abby's teammates feed off of, and her soccer intelligence is off the charts. She is an asset to her team and teammates, and much of our success is attributed to her. She is the perfect example of what a team captain should be!
