Week Of October 5 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Posted on: October 7, 2020

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Shae McHugh
Milford - Freshman
Cross Country
After starting the season injured, Shae had a great debut race at Saturday’s Sycamore Sunset Invitational. Her time of 20:45 was good for second on the team. The team is looking forward to seeing what Shae can accomplish the rest of the season.

Sophie Wohl
Milford - Junior
Sophie has been a strong and consistent player for us in the middle of the field. Her play significantly impacts the team's success, as she funnels much of the offensive attack. She has been an important piece to our puzzle and continues to improve every game.

Max Crawford
Milford - Junior
Max had two assists in a four-goal match against Winton Woods in mid-week and then followed that up with two goals on the weekend against Lakota West for another 4-1 victory.

Zeke Edwards
Milford - Junior
Cross Country
Zeke ran a season-best time of 17:37.10 at the Sycamore Invitational on Saturday. Zeke was our #2 runner and helped his team to a fourth-place finish.

Cameron Manning
Milford - Sophomore
Cameron earned her first medalist honor by shooting a round of 40 at Eagles Nest Golf Course in a tri-match against Loveland and West Clermont.

Vince Ringland
Milford - Senior
Vince had a terrific all-around performance in the Eagles' week six game against Anderson. On special teams, Vince recorded touchbacks on all three of his kickoffs and averaged nearly 40 yards on his two punts, including a boot of 45 yards. Offensively, he caught three passes for a team-high 51 yards and scored his first rushing touchdown of the year on a Wildcat play.
