Week Of September 13 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Katie Tassiello
Milford - Freshman
Cross Country
Katie had a great second race of her career Saturday at the Mason Invitational. Katie improved her time by over two minutes from her first race. We look forward to seeing Katie's continued improvement throughout the season.

Abi Loux
Milford - Senior
Golf
Abi shot an even-par 35 at Belwood Country Club in our victory over Kings.

Campbell Robinson
Milford - Junior
Volleyball
Campbell had a great week, totaling six blocks and 38 kills in three matches with a 0.471 hitting percentage. She was key to her team's offense in a three-set win over Turpin when she hit a whopping 0.667 for the match with 14 kills on 18 attempts. She also tallied niine digs and two aces for the week. Great job, Campbell!

Skylar Helms
Milford - Junior
Soccer
Skylar played a significant role in our shutout against Fairfield. She helped organize our back line and made multiple plays throughout the game that broke up their offensive chances.

Charlie Vause
Milford - Freshman
Cross Country
Charlie, a freshman, finished second in the Little Miami Invitational in a time of 16:48.20. This is Charlie's second-best time of the season as he ran a personal-best 16:41.0 last week at the Loveland Invitational.

Jacob Wagner
Milford - Sophomore
Cross Country
Jacob, a sophomore, ran a personal-best 17:54.20 to finish tenth in the Little Miami Invitational. Jacob's finish helped his team to a third-place finish in the meet.

Michael Kirk and Sam Crawford

Soccer
Milford high school gives a big hand to the hands of the two goalkeepers who shared in the shutout of Fairfield Saturday night. A first half shutout was performed by sophomore Michael Kirk. And, between the sticks in the second half was junior Sam Crawford.

Adam Horn
Milford - Senior
Golf
Last week against Fenwick at Wildwood in Middletown, Adam shot a two-under par 34 (low man) on Wednesday. The next day at Terrace Park CC against Little Miami, he shot four-under par 32 (again low man). He ended the week at The Hadley Invitational at Glenview, shooting a 68, four-under par to tie for low man. In those three events, Adam was a total of 10-under par!

Dylan Wright

Water Polo
Dylan had a huge performance during Milford's participation in the Ohio Cup as he finished with 36 goals, four assists, and seven steals.

Carolyn Marks
Milford - Junior
Water Polo
Carolyn and the Lady Eagles hosted the Milford Invitational over the weekend. She finished the event with 14 goals and 16 steals.

Tofa Luani
Milford - Sophomore
Football
Tofa keyed the Eagles to their first win over Turpin since 2018. Offensively, Tofa, a sophomore, rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns. He also helped slow the Spartan offense, finishing with six tackles and a pair of sacks.

Cam Zoromski
Milford - Senior
Football
Cam was also key in the Eagles’ first win over Turpin since 2018. Cam, a senior, had the defensive game of his life as the Eagle D held the Turpin rushing offense to just 55 yards. Cam finished with a game-high 11 tackles, an amazing four sacks, as well as a forced fumble.
