Posted on: September 21, 2022

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Jessie Nagle and Ana Manning
Milford Soccer
Jessie, a senior, has four shutouts on the season, tied for first in the ECC. She most notably shut out state-ranked Oak Hills on Saturday night by saving six of their shots on goal. Ana, a junior, scored two goals against Oak Hills. She is currently first in points and goals in the ECC. Ana is also two goals away from breaking the all-time Milford scoring record!

Maggie Braun
Senior, Milford Cross Country
After a successful and promising freshman season back in 2019, Maggie has had an injury-plagued past two seasons. Throughout everything, she has stayed positive and continued to work hard. Yesterday at the Milford Invitational, Maggie set a new career PR while also finishing 26th overall in the varsity race. It is great to see her back out there on the course this season.

Toto Luani
Junior, Milford Football
Toto has been a steady force at defensive back all season for the Eagles, ranking second on the team with 42 tackles. Against Kings, he recorded eight tackles for a third consecutive game after tallying nine in each of the first two contests of the year.

Cameron Manning
Senior, Milford Golf
Cameron has had the honor of being a match medalist four times this season. Shooting her career low of a 39 last Wednesday at the Grizzly, Cam led the Lady Eagles to their third conference win of the season. As a co-caption, Cam has continued working hard to help lead her team and has a current season average of 43.

Mia Raussen
Senior, Milford Volleyball
Mia, a senior outside hitter, contributed 13 kills and had a hitting percentage of 0.385 in a pair of matches last week. On the season, Mia has helped the Lady Eagles to a 10-2 start with 24 kills and five blocks.
