Week Of September 20 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Collin Kittrell

Collin has defended superbly to help Milford win back-to-back games while only conceding one goal.

Allyson Hendricks
Milford - Freshman
Cross Country
Allyson continues to perform well and improve with each race of the season. This past week, Allyson ran a new career PR at the Milford Invitational.

Emily Morgan
Milford - Senior
Volleyball
Emily, a senior libero, led the team in digs with 58 and serve receive average at 2.31 in three matches for the week. She also tacked on 12 assists and two service aces, helping the Lady Eagles to a 2-1 record against Lebanon, Anderson, and Kings. Great week, Emily!

Ana Manning and Ava Hassert

Out of the five goals scored this past week against our opponents, Ana, a sophomore, scored four of them and assisted the fifth. She is on track to beat her scoring record from freshman year! Ava, a junior, received Player of the Game against Walnut Hills. She was instrumental in stopping Walnut Hills’ attack through the middle of the field.

Lindsay Brown
Milford - Sophomore
Water Polo
Lindsay, a sophomore, had 11 goals, five steals, and three assists this past weekend at the Ohio Cup Tournament.

Jessica Shay and Mikalia Dinkins
Milford -
Golf
Jessica, a senior, received back-to-back medalist honors in our Matches against Ursuline Academy and Mount Notre Dame. Mikalia, a junior, broke 40 for the first time in our match with St. Ursula, shooting a 39 at California Golf Course.

Football
The Eagles' offensive line was dominant in the victory over Loveland. Playing in a heavy package for much of the night, Milford totaled 456 yards on the ground with the line opening gaping holes all night. Congrats to the following seven linemen that all played significant snaps: seniors Logan Bartholomew, Trevor Ings, Clayton Kemmeter, Ben Lane, Duncan MacRae, Wesley Prather and junior Scott Arnold.
