Posted on: November 21, 2017

The Milford High School Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Windy Robinson has been approved as the next head coach of the Eagles’ girls lacrosse program. Robinson’s hire was made official during the most recent Milford Exempted Village School District Board of Education meeting.

Coach Robinson grew up and attended high school in the Cincinnati area before going on to play volleyball and basketball at Case Western Reserve University. She first started coaching when she moved back to the area after graduate school. After taking a break to work and start a family, she got back into coaching when her children started playing youth sports and has been coaching in the Milford area for over eight years within the Milford Lacrosse Foundation and the Milford Girls Basketball program. She resides in Milford with her husband Brian and their two children. She currently works at Wee Three Kings Preschool.

Coach Robinson has a tremendous passion for the game of lacrosse and her teams are known for their hard work, fundamental strength and team effort on the field. She is looking forward to leading the program to new heights in years to come.

"I’m confident that I can get this young program going in a positive direction by fostering a team culture where players honor their teammates, the game and themselves while learning the fundamentals of lacrosse,” she said. “My goal with coaching any team is to establish a love for the game while teaching players how to respect and work hard for each other which often translates to success not only on the field, but also in school by giving athletes self-confidence and a support system that they can rely on in and out of their season."
