A LOOK BACK: March 21 vs. McNicholas: The Eagles got 2019 off to a flying start with a 14-2 victory over McNicholas. The Eastern Cincinnati Conference’s reigning scoring leader, sophomore Sarah Cardell, started her season with a bang, netting six goals. Josi Jennings, Casey Roeder and Gillian Roeder all added two scores apiece. Katie Prior’s senior year began with a goal and an assist, while Alexa Rouse had a goal and Alexis Montalvo tallied an assist.

 

March 26 vs. Lakota West: A tough Lakota West squad stymied the Milford attack as the Firebirds walked away with a 14-4 win. Eagle goal scorers on the night included Sarah Cardell, Katie Prior, Gilliam Roeder and Lindsay Schaeffer. Picking up assists were Sarah Ehrman and Casey Roeder.

 

March 28 vs. Little Miami: The Eagles continued their season-opening four-game homestand with a 17-13 victory over future conference foe Little Miami. Sarah Cardell matched her personal game-high with seven goals, while adding an assist. Sarah Ehrman followed with a trio of goals, while Sydney Hogan picked up her first two scores of the year. Katie Prior kept it going with two goals and two assists, while Josi Jennings, Gillian Roeder and Alexa Rouse netted one score each.

 

March 30 vs. Oak Hills: Milford picked up its third win in four tries this season with a thrilling 8-7 overtime triumph over Oak Hills. Sarah Cardell pushed her goal total for the year to 17 with a trio of goals, while Sydney Hogan scored twice for the second game in a row. The scoring was completed by single goals from Sarah Ehrman, Josi Jennings and Katie Prior.
