About Us

Located in the northeast suburbs of Cincinnati, Milford Exempted Village School District serves approximately 6,000 students. The district includes six neighborhood elementary schools, Milford Middle School, Milford High School, the Academy, and a preschool program housed at both Pattison and Mulberry Elementary Schools.

Milford’s academic and extracurricular programs provide opportunities for all children to reach their full potential.

In the annual U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings, Milford High Schools is consistently top-ranked. In 2025, Milford is ranked #1 in Clermont County, #14 in the Cincinnati Metro area (inclusive of Dayton and Northern Kentucky), top 50 in Ohio, and top 7% in the nation. According to US News and World Reports, these rankings are based on students’ graduation rates, performance on state tests, and college readiness benchmarks.

National Blue Ribbon Schools

  • Boyd E. Smith Elementary School was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2019.

  • After being named a School of Promise in 2013, Charles L. Seipelt Elementary was selected as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2014 for outstanding academic achievement.

Business Advisory Council Recognition

Milford Exempted Village School District has been recognized as a 2026 Ohio Three-Star Award Winner by the Greater Cincinnati Business Advisory Council, in partnership with the Hamilton and Clermont County Educational Service Centers.

This “3 for 3” designation highlights Milford’s continued excellence in building strong partnerships between education and industry. Through career-focused programming, real-world learning experiences, and collaboration with local businesses, Milford is preparing students for success beyond graduation.
