The Milford Exempted Village School District Board of Education is excited to announce that Dr. Bobbie Fiori has been selected as the next superintendent of Milford Schools, pending Board approval at the December 18, 2025 Board of Education Meeting. Dr. Fiori will succeed Superintendent John Spieser, who has served Milford Schools in the role of superintendent for the past five years.
The Board of Education plans to finalize details related to Dr. Fiori’s start date and, if necessary, any transitional leadership needs. The Board expects to have those details finalized and shared during the December 18 Board of Education Meeting.
Dr. Bobbie Fiori currently serves as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Special Services for Beavercreek City Schools, where she oversees districtwide curriculum, special education programming, and compliance with major state and federal grants. She brings more than 20 years of experience across roles including director, principal, school psychologist, and university instructor.
“It is a tremendous honor to be selected by the Board of Education to lead Milford Exempted Village Schools, a district with a proud tradition of excellence,” said Dr. Fiori. “I look forward to working with our outstanding staff and community to build on this strong foundation of student success.”
The district partnered with the Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) to lead the superintendent search process.
The Board’s decision followed multiple rounds of interviews with select community stakeholder groups, including parents and guardians, students, community members, administrators, and staff. The final decision came after Board discussions earlier this week and after fully reviewing and deliberating the feedback and information gathered during the December 9 Meet the Candidates Night, where students, staff, families, and community members engaged directly with the finalists and provided feedback to HCESC.
Board President Emily Mason expressed gratitude for the deep engagement throughout the search.
“We are thrilled to announce Dr. Fiori as the next superintendent of Milford Schools,” said Board President Emily Mason. “It is encouraging to see this decision reflect not only the Board’s vision for the future of our district but also that of our families, staff, and community. Dr. Fiori brings exceptional experience and a strong commitment to students, and we look forward to the leadership she will bring to our district.”
The Board extends its appreciation to John Spieser for his five years of dedicated service, steady leadership, and commitment to the students and staff of Milford Schools in his role as superintendent.
