Milford’s remarkable boys tennis season came to a close during the opening day of OHSAA District play as both Yusif Rustom and Jaden Worden were eliminated from contention.

Rustom, the No. 1 seed out of the Cincinnati bracket, ousted Daniel Songer of Bellbrook by scores of 6-0, 6-3 to move on to the second round. But taking on Nick Meyers of perennial power Sycamore, Rustom fell by scores of 1-6, 1-6.

Warden, who had earned the No. 3 seed in Cincinnati, opened play against Nick Von Krosigk of Tippecanoe, losing by scores of 6-2, 1-6, 2-6.
