April 19 at Winton Woods: Milford 17, Winton Woods 5

GAME REWIND
A game that was close for four innings turned into a Milford runaway as the Eagles plated 10 runs in the fifth to take down Winton Woods by a 17-5 final score. The Eagles scored the first seven runs of the game, but five markers by the Warriors made for a close game. Simon Bargo came on to relieve Brandon Neff in the fourth inning and worked out of a jam to earn a save, despite the final score.

An error produced Milford’s first inning run, before a Jared Frederick RBI single made it 2-0 in the third. A Tyler Hewlett RBI double and a sac fly by Mason Frank made it 4-0. Jonathan Baker and Joel Sagraves grabbed RBI in the fourth, but the Warriors fought back in its half of the fourth to claw within 7-5.

In the big fifth inning, Chase Herrell and Harper Hendrickson had the big hits of the frame, with each picking up a two-RBI single.
