Milford senior Joey Round, the fourth-ranked scorer in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference last season, picked up right where he left off in the Eagles’ opener against Hamilton last Friday. In the Eagles’ 9-1 victory, Round netted three goals, all in the first half.
Round’s hat trick heroics marked his third performance of at least three goals in the last two seasons. He also scored three times against Hamilton last year, just three matches after a four goal explosion in the squad’s season opening win over Little Miami.
