For the second straight year, Milford junior Tyler Babinec has earned a top-five finish at the OHSAA State Finals, as he placed fifth in the 100 breaststroke on Saturday. On the heels of last year’s third place tally, Babinec swan a time of 56.30 this year.

 

Unfortunately, Milford’s other state finals qualifier, the 200 freestyle relay squad of Babinec, Chase Fisher, Branham Leavens and Sam Leatherwood were disqualified in Saturday’s finals.
