By placing fourth in the 200 meter dash at the OHSAA Division I Regional Meet, Andrea Armstrong’s season will continue in Columbus next weekend.  Armstrong’s time of 25.71 placed her in the top four, earning her a trip to the 2017 OHSAA Division I State Track and Field Meet.  She finished the 100 meter dash preliminary in eleventh place with a 12.98.

Milford's 4x100 meter relay team of Armstrong, senior Lauryn Knarr, junior Emma Netzel and sophomore Madison Chitwood finished tenth in the finals with a time of 50.45.

Armstrong will compete in the State Meet preliminaries on Fri., June 2^nd.  The 200 dash is scheduled for a 6:55 pm start time.  The top 2 from each heat and the next 5 fastest times will qualify to the finals, scheduled for 6:15 pm on Sat., June 3^rd.  The State Meet will be held at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at the Ohio State University in Columbus.
