The banner senior season turned in by recent Milford High School graduate Matt Kirk added another accolade recently as the baseball standout was named to the American Family Insurance All-USA Ohio State first team. Kirk was also touted a first team All-Ohio choice by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches’ Association. He was one of six players from the Greater Cincinnati area to receive inclusion on the All-USA Ohio teams.

 

Also a first team All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference choice, Kirk had a phenomenal conclusion to his high school career as he led the ECC in hits (45), triples (7) and RBI (34). His .459 batting average was the third-best in the league. He also scored 28 runs, danged out seven doubles and a pair of home runs, while stealing five bases. Kirk was also a first team All-ECC choice last season. He will continue his playing career next season at Morehead State University.
