Clare Cartheuser’s outstanding high school track career ended on the podium in Columbus.

Cartheuser competed at Saturday’s 2016 OHSAA Division I State Track and Field Meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at the Ohio State University.  Her throw of 130-06.00 in her third attempt led her to an eighth place finish among sixteen of the best female throwers in Ohio.

Madison Pollard of Anthony Wayne High won the championship, with a throw of 143-10.00.
