Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Jack Patterson and Brayden Fehring

Milford Soccer

Jack, a junior, led the defensive line as Milford took on experienced Beavercreek on the weekend. Jack (previously a forward) has taken to his position switch to CB and made it his own. Jack coaches on the field, making his whole team better. Through five games, Brayden has only given up three goals and week after week could be an ECC Athlete of the Week. The senior already has an assist on the season and was a big part of stifling the Beavercreek attack that had scored 18 goals through its first three games. He helped Milford get a well-earned tie against a fantastic Creek squad.

Jayden Bodley and Chase Gale

Milford Football

In just his second varsity start, Jayden accounted for four touchdowns in leading the Milford offense to a 37-0 win. Jayden threw three touchdown passes, while rushing for a fourth. The junior finished with 130 yards passing and a team-high 45 more rushing. Chase, also a junior, came up big on defense, leading the Eagles with nine tackles, snagging his first career interception, and breaking up another pass.

Lila Patterson and Madison Cartmell

Milford Soccer

Lila was instrumental in our two wins this week. The sophomore consistently stopped offensive transitions in the midfield with her relentlessness and determination. Madison, a junior, is off to a great start this season with three goals this week alone.

Jovie Denbow

Milford Cross Country

In a week when 20 girls improved their time from the previous meet, Jovie stole the show by improving her time by over two minutes from the previous week. Keep up the hard work Jovie!

Charlie Leatherwood

Milford Cross Country

Charlie led the team at the Lebanon Running Warrior Invite this past weekend, setting a lifetime PR in the process. He has battled through adversity and his dedication and grit are paying off in the course!
