This week, The Cincinnati Enquirer continues its new voting feature for the 2025 high school sports year: The Spirit Award for cheerleaders, dance team members and their squads. Much like the popular athlete of the week voting, school fans and friends can vote on two weekly ballots (individual and team) for The Spirit Award.

Sophie Klodell, Milford – The senior is an incredibly kind, genuine person who is empathetic and always treats others with respect. She is self-aware, trustworthy, and generous. I love how Sophie is comfortable being herself and how well Sophie takes criticism and values her coaches and teammates' perspectives. We are thankful to have her on our varsity sideline this season!
