Consideration may also include athletic accomplishments and contributions beyond the Milford Exempted Village School District. With the induction of the Class of 2026, 109 individuals and one team have been honored as members of the Milford High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
2026 Hall of Fame Inductees
Aaron Slusher
Aaron Slusher was a standout two-sport athlete at Milford High School who continued his success at the collegiate level. A dominant four-year varsity starting goalkeeper, Slusher anchored the Eagles’ defense during one of the most successful eras in program history, helping lead Milford to its only boys soccer Greater Miami Conference (GMC) Championship during his senior season in 2004. That year, Milford finished ranked No. 1 in Southwest Ohio, highlighting Slusher’s impact as a leader and competitor.
In 2004, Slusher earned First Team All-GMC and First Team All-Southwest Ohio honors, served as a varsity captain, and received the Varsity Sportsmanship Award. He continued his athletic career at Wilmington College, where he became one of the top goalkeepers in the Ohio Athletic Conference. His collegiate career culminated in a standout senior season, earning First Team All-OAC, Ohio Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, and NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Goalkeeper of the Year honors, while also serving as a team captain. Following his playing career, Slusher transitioned into coaching, later serving as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Jack Hannah
Jack Hannah was a dominant force for Milford lacrosse, earning Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) Player of the Year honors in 2017 and being named OHSAA Regional Player of the Year. He continued his lacrosse career at the University of Denver, where he was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year in 2021 and later recognized as USA Lacrosse Magazine’s Preseason Midfielder of the Year.
In addition to his collegiate success, Hannah has competed internationally playing box lacrosse for Team USA and currently plays professional lacrosse with the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the Philadelphia Waterdogs of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).
Earl Willson
Earl Willson dedicated more than five decades to Milford Exempted Village Schools as an educator, administrator, coach, and mentor. He began his career with the district in the fall of 1972 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. While at UC, Willson was a standout defensive linebacker, earning Missouri Valley Conference First Team All-Conference honors and serving as a tri-captain of the Bearcats football team during his senior season.
During his more than 30-year career at Milford, Willson taught mathematics at both Milford Junior High School and Milford High School and later served as assistant principal at both buildings. In 2002, following a brief retirement, he was appointed Interim Principal of Milford High School for one year. In addition to his work in the classroom and administration, Willson was deeply involved in Milford athletics, serving as an assistant football coach at the junior high and high school levels, coaching junior high wrestling, and assisting with track and field programs across the district. Even after retirement, Willson continued to serve Milford Schools as a substitute teacher, part-time educator, and athletic site supervisor, impacting the education and athletic experiences of thousands of Milford students over more than 50 years.
The trio will be inducted into the Hall of Fame prior to Milford’s boys varsity basketball game on Friday, January 23. Festivities included a pre-induction reception and dinner for the new inductees, their families and friends and the current members of the Milford Hall of Fame.
