Long-time and highly successful Milford High School softball coach Christy Gregory is retiring. After 23 seasons and over 400 wins, Gregory will step away from leading the Eagles to focus on a new administrative position within Milford High School.

"Christy and Tim Gregory are synonymous with fastpitch softball in Southwest Ohio,” stated Milford Director of Athletics Mark Trout. “Christy's dedication to developing players at her alma mater over two decades is amazing and rare. The success of her teams and athletes is a testament to her ability to motivate and teach the game of softball in a way that young players understand and respond to, ultimately reaching their highest potential. Christy continues to be part of the fabric of Milford Schools as an Associate Principal at Milford High School and we wish her all the best!"

Gregory’s teams have been some of Southwest Ohio’s best during her tenure. On the way to a final record of 416-194-1, Gregory coached five teams that captured outright Eastern Cincinnati Conference championships and four that shared ECC crowns. She took her 2004 squad to the State Final Four, with the 2023 team also capturing a district championship. Five other Milford teams were district runners-up during Gregory’s time.

A seven-time ECC Coach of the Year award recipient, Gregory became one of just six Southwest Ohio coaches to earn 400 career wins during Milford’s win over Anderson earlier this spring. Numerous players from Milford went on to enjoy successful collegiate careers after playing under Gregory’s tutelage.
