ECC EOW 8-16

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Audrey Dumont: Girl's Cross Country

After a strong summer, Audrey was our top freshman finisher at this year's time trial. We look forward to watching Audrey build on this success and be a solid contributor throughout the season.

Risha Patel: Girl's Golf

Risha, senior team captain, was team medalist in our match vs. St. Ursula, shooting a 43 in horrible weather conditions at Little Miami.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE NAMED "ECC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK" FOR THE WEEK OF 8/9/2026. WE RECOGNIZE THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS HERE AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY IN PUBLICATION.

James Croot: Boy's Soccer

James will be a starter on Milford’s boys varsity soccer team. He is one of our best defenders and a player who leads by example with hard work and integrity. In addition to being a spectacular player, James also supports other players and helps when they’re struggling. I am not only excited about his abilities as a player, but also about who he is as a person.

Ellie Fight: Girl's Golf

Ellie earned medalist honors in the Lady Eagles' season-opening win against Harrison. She fired a solid 40, six shots better than the next closest player. At the Dog Days of Summer tournament, Ellie finished runner-up out of a field of 96 golfers with a career-low 2-over-par 73, making the All-Tournament team. And after playing 54 holes the previous three days, she was the match medalist on Friday against Mercy McAuley, shooting a 39 at Fairfield South and being the only player to break 40. Ellie has been a member of the varsity squad since her freshman season and continues to be a leader and a reliable force for the team!

Katie Reckman: Girl's Cross Country

After missing the entire track season due to injury, Katie has worked extremely hard to prepare herself for the upcoming season. It has been a great overall summer for the Lady Eagles, and they are ready for an amazing season.
