ECC 10-21

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

MaKyen Clark and Brody Selhorst: Football

MaKyen, a junior, had a very solid performance from his nose guard position against Little Miami. He finished the night with eight tackles (six solo), including one for a loss, while also forcing a fumble. Brody, a freshman, made a big impact in his first extended varsity action of the year. Brody tallied 108 all-purpose yards on just seven touches, including a 64-yard kickoff return which is Milford's longest this year. On just his second rushing attempt of the year, he broke off a 26-yard run, completing his night with 30 rushing yards, along with two catches for 14 more yards.

Madison Cartmell: Girls Soccer

Madison is currently the team leader in points. She has impacted multiple games this season, including a hat trick against Mercy McAuley and assisting and scoring in our last two matches. She continues to increase her influence on the field, so we are excited to see what she can do this postseason!

Elle Campbell: Girls Cross Country

Elle captured her third consecutive ECC individual title on Saturday. She is the first athlete to claim the individual crown for three straight years.

Micaela Davis: Girls Volleyball

Micaela is a leader and a fierce competitor. She left all-out effort and heart on the floor this week, including on her Senior Night. She is always looking for feedback to improve her game. She is a setter but can play defense very well.

Charlie Leatherwood: Boys Cross Country

Charlie raced his heart out, finishing in 11th place and helping the team to tie for first in the ECC Championship. His hard work, commitment to the team, and fearlessness paid off big time!

Knox Zurmehly: Boys Soccer

Knox is a key player in our defense and a terrific athlete and young man. Knox tallied two assists and helped the team post a shutout in our 6-0 league match victory against West Clermont.
