The Milford High School Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that Kemper Ackermann has committed to continue his academic and athletic career as a member of the men's lacrosse team at DePauw University beginning in 2017.

Ackermann is coming off a season in which he earned second team all-region honors for Milford (lacrosse is currently a club sport at MHS) and has been a member of the lacrosse program since the third grade. He is a two-year starter at goalie for the Eagles and was chosen as a team captain as a junior. Ackermann is on track to graduate with honors and has received both a Merit Award and the Holton Memorial Scholarship recognizing leadership and community service from DePauw.

At DePauw, Ackermann will play for head coach Carl Haas who became DePauw’s first head varsity lacrosse coach in 2012. Kemper is the son of Frank and Mary Ann Ackermann.
