Eagle Foursome Earns ECC Girls Golf Honors
Congratulations to four members of the Milford girls golf team who earned All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference honors for excellence during the 2019 season. Abi Loux was named to the all-league first team, while her sister Megan, along with Jessica Shay were picked to the second team. Cameron Manning rounds out the list of awardees, earning honorable mention accolades.
Abi Loux was one of the best players in the ECC, finishing second during the regular season with a 40.8 average. She earned top-five finishes in both of the ECC’s 2019 Tournaments and was tied for 18th at the OHSAA Sectionals.
Megan Loux tied for 10th in the league, carding a nine hole average of 44.6 for the season. She was among the top-15 in both ECC events, while finishing 30th at Sectionals.
Shay had a 44.7 average to take 12th in the league statistics. Her season was highlighted by a 10th place finish at the ECC Postseason Championship. She also took 13th in the preseason event and tied for 18th at sectionals.
Manning was just behind Shay amongst the league leaders with a 45.4 average. She placed 14th and 19th respectively at the ECC events and was tied for 35th at sectionals.
