Football Places 10 On All-ECC Squads

Another successful season, highlighted by a playoff victory and a third-place finish in the competitive Eastern Cincinnati Conference has landed 10 Eagles on the 2022 All-ECC football teams. The talented group led Milford to nine wins and includes four first team selections, five second team honorees and an honorable mention.

Here’s a look at the recipients awards and their season highlights.

Austin Hardin
• 1st team All-ECC
• Rewrote the Milford record book for passing, setting new marks for single season touchdown passes (40), yards (2,979), completions (210) and completion percentage (68.2%)
• Also set new school career marks for TD passes (64), yards (5,713), completions (431) and completion percentage (61.2%)
• A first team All-ECC honoree

Nick Scally
• 1st team All-ECC
• A force at middle linebacker, amassing 73 tackles to rank third on the team and 15th in the ECC despite missing one game
• Recorded six tackles for loss, including 3.5 sacks, with one interception and one pass break-up
• A two-time All-ECC selection, after picking up second team honors last year

Jacob Smith
• 1st team All-ECC
• Established himself as one of the most dangerous two-way players in the league as a defensive back and a returner
• Tied for the league lead with six interceptions, while adding 14 pass break-ups
• Finished second on the squad with 77 tackles, including 8.5 for loss. Tacked on a pair of sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and a pair of blocked kicks
• Was explosive in the return game as one of only two league players to return both a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown all season (recorded one of each vs. Lebanon). Returned a second kickoff for a TD vs. Turpin
• A first time All-ECC choice

Natwan Webster
• 1st team All-ECC
• A bruising runner who finished fourth in the league with 904 rushing yards. Was fourth with 14 rushing TDs
• Also caught 25 passes for 228 yards and four more touchdowns
• A first time All-ECC choice

Scott Arnold
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Anchor of the offensive line that helped Milford rank among the top-three in scoring, total offense and passing offense

Reece Davis
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Placed second in the ECC and set a Milford single season record with 14 receiving touchdowns
• Among the top-10 players in the league with 752 receiving yards on 42 receptions
• Honored for his play in the return game where he averaged 28 yards per kick return, including a game-changing touchdown against West Clermont
• A first time All-ECC honoree

Andrew Littrell
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Burst onto to the scene in his first varsity season to lead the Eagles and rank second in the league with 96 tackles
• Totaled 11 tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks, while forcing a fumble, recovering a fumble for a touchdown and returning an interception 77 yards
• A first time All-ECC recipient

Toto Luani
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Had yet another solid season at defensive back, finishing with 68 tackles, including 10.5 for loss
• Recovered a pair of fumbles, forced another, blocked a kick and had one pass break-up
• A first team All-ECC choice

Luke Ray
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Hauled in a team-high 51 receptions to tie for seventh in the ECC
• Finished with 668 yards receiving and five touchdowns
• A first team All-ECC selection

William Riesenberg
• Honorable Mention All-ECC
• Tied for fifth in the ECC with five sacks from his defensive line position
• Finished with 72 tackles, including 10.5 for loss. Knocked down one pass, forced a fumble, blocked a kick and recorded a safety
• A first time All-ECC honoree
