Football Postseason Award Winners

Congratulations to the following football players, along with head coach Tom Grippa, who have earned postseason awards following the recently completed season. This page will be updated as more awards are announced.

Here’s a look at the recipients awards and their season highlights.

Nathan Webster
• Tristate Football Offensive Player of the Year Finalist
• Cincinnati High School Sports Offensive Player of the Year Finalist
• Postseason All-Tristate Football 3rd team
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• 1st team All-Ohio
• 1st team All-District
• ECC Offensive Player of the Year
• 1st team All-ECC
• Ranked third in the league in rushing yards (1,281) despite missing one regular season game
• Scored 19 rushing touchdowns to rank second among league players
• Accumulated the second-most rushing yards in a season in school history

Mahlik Boben
• Postseason All-Tristate Football 2nd team
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• 2nd team All-Ohio
• 1st team All-District
• 1st team All-ECC
• Helped pave the way for the second-highest scoring offense in the ECC (34.6 points per game)

Reece Davis
• Postseason All-Tristate Football 2nd team
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• 1st team All-Ohio
• 1st team All-District
• 1st team All-ECC
• Finished fourth in the ECC in receiving yards with 883
• Was also fourth in receptions (61) and fifth in touchdowns (7)
• Also returned a punt for a touchdown in the win at Lebanon
• Led the ECC in punt return yards (192) and was eighth in kick return yards (205)
• Set the Milford records for career catches (154) and receiving yards (2,129)

Andrew Littrell
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• Honorable mention All-Ohio
• 2nd team All-District
• 1st team All-ECC
• Finished second in the ECC with 117 total tackles
• Was also among the top-10 in the league in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (12.5)
• Scored a touchdown on an interception return in the win over Walnut Hills

Tofa Luani
• Cincinnati High School Sports Defensive Player of the Year Finalist
• Postseason All-Tristate Football honorable mention
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• 2nd team All-Ohio
• 1st team All-District
• 1st team All-ECC
• The third-leading tackler on the team and ninth in the ECC with 83 total stops
• Was third in the ECC with 15 tackles for loss and ranked ninth with 5.5 sacks
• Tacked on an interception and a forced fumble
• Set the school record for sacks in a career with 14
• Also added 10 rushing touchdowns on offense

Toto Luani
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st team
• Honorable mention All-Ohio
• 2nd team All-District
• 1st team All-ECC
• Registered 60 tackles, including eight for loss, despite playing in just 10 games
• Tallied a pair of interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery

Ashton Warther
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star honorable mention
• 1st team All-ECC
• Set a Milford single-season record with 77 catches to rank second in the ECC
• Finished with 872 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns
• Also added 122 yards on kick returns

Tom Grippa
• Cincinnati Enquirer Division I Coach of the Year
• ECC Coach of the Year
• Becomes the first-ever Milford Football coach to earn a conference coach of the year award
• Paul Brown Excellence In Coaching Award

Matt Bloom
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Part of an offensive line that was second in the league in total offense with 352.3 yards per game

Luke Brand
• Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star honorable mention
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Totaled the fourth most passing yards in the ECC (2,049) while playing in just nine games
• Was second in the league with a completion percentage of 68.6%, the highest-ever by a Milford signal caller
• Tied for fifth in the ECC with 13 TD passes
• Set a school record with 423 passing yards in the win over rival Loveland

Hunter Gulaskey
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Tied for ninth in the league and first on the Eagles with 5.5 sacks
• Also registered 10 tackles for loss and an interception return for a touchdown in the win over Anderson

Robby Mickler
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Tied for fifth in the conference and first on the team with three interceptions
• Finished with 56 total tackles, seven pass break-ups and one fumble recovery

Cole Miller
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Ranked second on the team and fifth in the league with 92 tackles
• Had 6.5 tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks
• Forced two fumbles and recovered another, returning it 19 yards

Jack Wesseling
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Part of offensive line that helped produce the league’s third-best passing and fourth-best rushing offense

Mason Cooper
• Honorable mention All-ECC
• Led the ECC in points by a kicker (59), along with extra-points (50)
• Connected on first three career field goals, including the game-winner in the waning moments of the Winton Woods win
• Hit 24 kickoffs for touchbacks, the second-most in the ECC
• Set a variety of school kicking records including: Career points by kicking (115), career extra points made (106), single-season points by kicking (59), most points scored by kicking, game (10)
