The Game of Hope

MILFORD vs. Little Miami  Jan. 22 @ MHS

Lauren Hill was a 19-year old brain cancer patient who entered the national spotlight with her story of her first game as a freshman basketball player at Mount St. Joseph.  Complications of cancer hindered her abilities, but her strength and determination drove her to the opening game.  At the conclusion of the game, Lauren’s wish was that the movement to cure cancer would not end at that game, that people would use the game to continue to fundraise with The Cure Starts Now in her honor to fund research and help find a cure for kids like her. Congratulations Lauren as we are honored to continue your wish at Milford High School since 2015.

Today we Celebrate our Survivors, Remember and Honor our loved ones, and Hope for the future!

The Ladies of Milford, Little Miami, and Seton will play for a cause greater than themselves on Monday, Jan. 22nd. JVB Contest begins at 4:30 pm vs Seton followed by the JV and Varsity vs Little Miami. Pre-game festivities and special ceremony will begin prior to the Varsity game at 7:30 p.m. Please consider participating in the Layup4Lauren Challenge (halftime Varsity 8 p.m.), Split the pot, Bake Sale, T-shirt sales ($20), remembrance or honor ribbons sold for $1 in the lobby to be displayed in the Fley center, and a Game of Hope basket to be raffled off. Thank you for joining together as one in the fight against Cancer and other causes dear to your heart. Together we can make a difference and spread HOPE to all by remembering to Never Give Up! All proceeds will be donated below.
